YOUSTN klinkt als real vintage rock! En die is in hun overtuiging nog steeds springlevend!
En deze overtuiging hoor je ook terug in hun composities. Deze zijn doorspekt met oude en nieuwe invloeden van de bandleden.
Deze Southern Rockers hebben hun melodieuze eigen composities gefinetuned tot rocksongs die zowel rockliefhebbers als de liefhebbers van vintage bluesrock zullen aanspreken.
Het samenspel van gierende Hammond en Leslies (Dick Franssen; Alquin en Ongenode Gaste), heavy gitaar-riffs (Marcel Notermans; ViaVia en Vandale)
op een rocksolid groove door Eddie Claessens (Drums; Vandale, David Readman)
Harrold Nabben (Bas; Mylk en Rock Explosion) zorgen voor een vet, strak, melodieus en dynamisch geheel.
Het is niet voor niets dat leadzanger Ward Axe (Taxe, Van Gunn) niet lang twijfelde om met zijn
enorme bereik de songs van YOUSTN naar nog grotere hoogten te tillen.

YOUSTN has the vast opinion that vintage rock is still alive and kicking!
And this is the sound we put in the songs we compose. Touched by old and triggered by new sounds, grooves and influences of each band member.
Let’s put it this way; this Dutch band has fine-tuned their own authentic melodies into rocksongs that will appeal to both oldskool rock-enthusiast and fans of the (vintage) bluesrock genre!
Think of Hammond, riffs and rock’n’roll, that’s where the sound of YOUSTN can be found!
The interplay of the cool, Leslie-driven Hammond sounds, produced by Dick, along with bad-ass
guitar-riffs by Marcel and a rocksolid groove by Eddie (drums) and Harrold (Bass) wil most definitely stick to your ears. Topped with the fabulous voice of Ward Axe, the songs by YOUSTN are brought to an ultimate high.
